About

Josh Miller is a teaching fellow and doctoral candidate in Political Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is currently working on his dissertation titled “Hating Friends/Loving Enemies: Political Judgment and Conflict in Ancient Greek Thought” that analyzes political conflict in ancient Athens and the methods of judgment that sustain and enrich democracies. He teaches courses in classical, modern, and feminist political theory, and has assisted in teaching courses in classical political thought, early modern political thought, contemporary political thought, feminist political theory, and international relations. Josh is originally from St. Augustine, FL and currently lives with his wife and Thundercat in Chapel Hill, NC.
