Josh Miller is a doctoral candidate in Political Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and visiting lecturer in Political Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His dissertation, “Democracy and Judgment in Ancient Greek Political Thought,” analyzes judgment as a reflective practice combining moral contemplation with practical experience. An award winning instructor, he teaches courses in the history of political thought, normative political theory, international relations, gender studies, and research ethics. Josh is originally from St. Augustine, FL and currently lives with his partner in Durham, NC.
